The Penang Adventist Hospital (PAH) is part of an International Adventist Network of some 600 not-for-profit hospitals, clinics and dispensaries worldwide. From its humble beginnings, PAH has continuously grown to become a tertiary healthcare centre for the Malaysian community and International visitors.
The hospital is supported by dedicated physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals, and employs modern medical equipment to provide quality healthcare.
In 2007, Penang Adventist Hospital received the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation. JCI is the leader in accreditation, with more than 10 years of experience across the full spectrum of healthcare organisations. JCI accreditation represents the “Gold Seal of Approval” in healthcare and provides the most comprehensive evaluation process.
Penang Adventist Hospital was awarded The Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH), an independent, not-for-profit organisation working actively in participation with healthcare professionals to ensure safety and continuous quality improvement in providing healthcare facilities and services in the country.
Penang Adventist Hospital is a member of the Health Promoting Hospital Network (HPH) – the very first hospital in Malaysia, since January 2013. Initiated by World Health Organization, the mission of HPH network is to improve the quality of health care of both hospital patients and staff through evidence-based health promotion services. As an accredited HPH hospital, PAH strives to achieve better health gain for our patients and staff with an integrated and comprehensive health promotion services.
